I know this is a little late, but Scott and I just had such a fun Memorial Weekend that I couldn't not share what we did.
The Saturday before Memorial Day we went to Lagoon! Lagoon is Utah's little amusement park and it was pretty fun. Growing up in San Diego I would compare Lagoon more to a county fair not an amusement park though. I was pretty spoiled while growing up living in such a wonderful place. Oh how I miss San Diego and Sea World and Disneyland... Anyways, back to Lagoon. Lagoon was really fun to go to, but way too expensive for what it is worth in our opinion. Let's just say I thought it was one of those places you should go to once, but I wouldn't go again. The rides seemed to just go in circles the whole time really quick so by the time you got off the ride you felt like you were on it for 30 seconds and your head just felt like it was spinning. Some people may like that, but I sure don't like that feeling. My favorite ride we went on was the big ferris wheel! Scott HATES heights like with a passion! I was so proud of him for going on it with me. We weren't even half way up and he said "I can tell I'm not going to like this"! haha He was already starting to feel uncomfortable. Funnest part was of course the ride stopped right when we were at the highest point. It has such a pretty view though. :-)

The other cool thing about going to Lagoon was we took the Frontrunner (the train) instead of driving all the way up there. It took about the same time was if we drove (about an hour) and neither one of us had to drive, which was prefect because on the way home we both were exhausted and slept a little bit. Parking at the parks is always so expensive! The Frontrunner only cost us $13.50 roundtrip and I was able to ride for free because of my bus pass (yay!). If we drove up parking itself would have cost us $9.
After our little nap on the Frontrunner on the way home I really wanted to go to the Fun Center to play some games since we have a ton of free tokens to play there. Scott did amazing and easily got over 1,500 tickets! We have been saving up all of our tickets to eventually get one of there really big prizes! I have no idea what we are going to get, but we still have about $75 worth of tokens and already have a little over 6,000 tickets!
Sunday was a great day! I thought all the lessons were great and just what I needed to hear. Perfect! That night we had my brother and sister in law over for dinner and had a great time. We had yummy hamburgers and mashed potatoes. My sister-in-law wasn't feeling to good so that was a bummer, but it was so great seeing them. We played Sorry after dinner and watched Iron Chief. If you haven't watched Iron Chief you should! Scott has got me hooked on that show and Chopped! It is amazing what people can make out of the most random ingredients! I love it!
Monday we went over to the Aegerter's for dinner and again enjoyed some hamburgers. It was delicious as always. We love spending time over at the Aegerter's and especially when we get to enjoy Deb's amazing food!
I need to take more pictures like I used to because it is so fun to look back at all of our pictures from when we were dating. :-) Speaking of when we were dating today has been officially 2 years since we started dating and that would be the first set of sunflowers that he bought me! Crazy! Last night he brought me home some flowers and it was adorable! I love him so much!
